Getinge and WaterAid

WaterAid

Access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene are some of the most basic and crucial requirements for hospitals to provide sustainable health care and lower the risks of spreading bacteria and viruses. It might sound like a given but in fact one out of four health care facilities globally[1] lack access to clean water. As a result, hundreds of millions of people each year are affected by health care accuired infections.[2] That is why Getinge and WaterAid has partnered up to strengthen access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene at health care facilities around the world.
