Our sustainability work is structured within three areas:
Business Ethics
Getinge has signed the UN Global Compact and we support its ten principles on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. The sustainability work is governed by our Code of Conduct and a number of policies in a number of areas, such as human rights, anti-corruption and the environment.
A Sustainable Offer
Our corporate social responsibility is built on high health, safety, discrimination and ethics standards. We strive to make a positive and sustainable contribution to the communities we are active in.
People & Society
At Getinge, we strive to make a positive and sustainable contribution to the communities we are active in. Our corporate social work are built on high standards regarding health and safety, human rights, discrimination and ethics. All employees are involved in acting as role models for ethical behavior and professional integrity.

UN Global Compact
Supporting the UN Global Compact is an important part of our sustainability efforts, and we strive to integrate its principles covering human rights, labor and the environment in our daily work.
UN Sustainability Goals
The UN Global Compact has established 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Getinge supports all of them and have identified those that are most relevant for our own operations.
EcoVadis
In 2019, we began to evaluate our sustainability performance through EcoVadis, which is the leading system for evaluating suppliers’ environmental aspects, working conditions, corporate social responsibility and subcontractors.
